The Bellan "Mimic" Lock is a high grade steel "like for like" replacement door handle with a built in slam lock, designed to replace the existing door handle assembly. The "Mimic" lock can be fitted to both the side and rear doors of the vehicle and has been formed to fit unobtrusively into the existing vehicle’s door panelling without the need to cut, drill or adjust the door.

Internal steel shielding plates are fitted to protect the moving parts of the lock and connecting rods from drilling and tampering. The ‘Mimic’ Lock utilises the vehicle’s catch mechanism that is designed to withstand many tons of "pull" pressure. At the same time, it replaces the insecure catch release control, which is disengaged from the original door handle during installation. The door handle is then replaced with the "Mimic" lock, a pick-proof key and barrel control mechanism embedded in a steel housing.

Operating rods are custom-made and are supplied with van specific installation kits, ensuring that all moving parts are securely connected, providing life-long reliability and durability.

Available for most models of vehicles including Renault, Ford, Fiat, Peugeot and VW.
