Once the vehicle is parked the system is automatically armed and the level in the fuel tank monitored. Any change in the internal resistance within the fuel tank, caused by theft or tampering around the fuel tank, instantly creates an Œoutput¹ signal. Providing there are sufficient digital inputs available, it is also possible to integrate FuelGuard with any onboard vehicle tracking system, giving the driver of the transport manager location details of any attempted theft or tampering.
