In most circumstances where vehicles have more than one battery the current will  randomly take ‘the path of least resistance’ which typically results in the auxiliary battery being charged ahead of the starting or chassis battery that brings with it its own problems. Unlike typical Split Charging Systems the Bellan Split Charger ensures that the Chassis or ‘starting’ battery is automatically charged ahead of the auxiliary battery.

The ISC has the ‘intelligence’ to determine which battery needs to be re-charged and will prioritise accordingly. Contemporary split chargers will just ‘split’ the re-chargin.
