The commercial and operational impact of non-starts can be significant and for many of today’s Fleets the prevention of flat batteries is of paramount importance.

With full OEM approval ‘Battery Guard’ protects vehicles against flat batteries and guarantees that your vehicles will always ‘start on the button.’

BatteryGuard constantly monitors the level of residual charge within the vehicle’s battery. BatteryGuard senses when the level of charge within the battery falls to a critical level below which the engine will not start. 

If the voltage level falls below either 12.1 volts on a 12 volt vehicle or 24.3 volts on a 24volt vehicle for a continuous period of 4 minutes, BatteryGuard automatically isolates the battery from the vehicle’s electrical system thereby preventing any further voltage loss.

To re-start the vehicle the driver simply presses the re-set switch mounted on the vehicle’s dashboard and the battery is re-connected and vehicle can be started in the normal way, avoiding time-consuming and costly delays.
