Local Authorities
With over 30 Local Authorities now using and specifying BatteryGuard, Local Authority Fleet Managers have been able to drastically reduce the numbers of non-start situations both at the depot and away from the depot. Typical applications now include Gritters, Social Service Mini Buses, Highway Maintenance Vehicles and Parks vehicles.
Logistic Companies

Service Companies
Some of the largest UK mobile workforces rely on Bellan to secure their vehicles with the ergonomically superior Bellan Slam Lock. One of our clients with a fleet in excess of 4000 vehicles wished to standardise security across its light commercial fleet that included four different makes of van.
Our design brief was that the lock needed to be durable, low maintenance and had a single-handed operation. Our Slam Lock was placed alongside many rival brands for testing and evaluation. It soon became evident to the client that, because our Slam Lock was able to work with the inherent design strengths of the vehicles' doors and latching mechanisms, we were able to offer a simple, stronger and more aesthetically pleasing Slam Lock.
Couriers
Couriers and Goods in Transit applications often have high value cargos that need more involved and complex levels of security. For such applications we have created 'bespoke' locking systems that are controlled through the use of 'zoning' or over 'time' or a combination of both. Such solutions dovetail with existing vehicle tracking and telemetry systems.
We have pioneered a standalone solution to secure consignments between drops with the use of additional solenoid or pneumatic locking that uses a unique coding system tailored to match the operational needs of the particular client.
General Haulage Companies
With extensive engineering resources and experience we are able to offer both off-the-shelf and bespoke solutions for the General Haulage market and the client with a specialist application. Whatever the requirement, from vehicle security to power management, Bellan is able to offer and provide practical and cost-effective solutions.
